Born and raised here, as a watch parts manufacturer rooted in Hong Kong, Biu Chun Watch Hands has always remembered its origins and considers public welfare as its responsibility, striving to give back to society as much as possible. This includes supporting local sports development and sponsoring the Lok Sin Tong Biu Chun Day Care Centre for the Elderly.
Supporting Local Sports Development
In 2011, Biu Chun Watch Hands became the title sponsor of a football club, and the team has been competing in Hong Kong's top football league under the name "BC Rangers" ever since. BC Rangers embodies the club's mission, aiming to cultivate a new generation of outstanding players. The BC Rangers Football Academy was established, managed by experienced football coaches, and football training has been extended to children as young as 6-12 years old.
In addition to football, Biu Chun Watch Hands is also very concerned about the development of basketball in Hong Kong. In 2016, it established the Biu Chun Watch Hands Youth Basketball Training Program, aimed at training members of the Hong Kong basketball team. The program provides various platforms for players to showcase their talents and encourages young players to strive for excellence, injecting new blood into Hong Kong's basketball scene.
Caring for the Health of the Elderly
Chinese Philosopher Menicus saying: “Honour the elderly and the young in other families as we honour those in our own.” Biu Chun Watch Hands has always been concerned about society. In 2021, it fully sponsored the Lok Sin Tong Biu Chun Day Care Centre for the Elderly, providing daytime care services for the elderly in the community.
The Elderly Day Care Centre offers care and support services during the day for elderly individuals who require special attention and have moderate to severe physical impairments, assisting them in aging in place within their familiar community. To properly care for these elderly individuals, the centre is equipped with various advanced professional nursing facilities for their safe use. Additionally, the centre provides meal services, health education, counseling and referral services, social and recreational activities, and transportation services to and from the centre, offering comprehensive care for the physical and mental needs of the elderly.
